Cannot see Customer's Home Wi-Fi Network

If you are on the Listo Wi-Fi setup page and cannot see the customer’s home network from the dropdown menu, follow these steps.


You must confirm the following:

  • The customer has an active 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network. 5Ghz networks will NOT show up on the dropdown menu

  • The customer's Wi-Fi network has a strong signal where the EMS is installed

  • The LED on the EMS controller is pulsing green in a 3x pattern

  • EVSE and Wi-Fi repeater are powered

 
  1. Enter Hidden Network

If you are on the Listo Wi-Fi setup page and cannot see the customer’s home network from the dropdown menu, use the option from the dropdown menu titled ‘Enter Hidden Network’ and directly type in the customer's Wi-Fi SSID & password.  Press connect and wait for the Listo controller to connect to the internet.



  1. No 'Enter Hidden Network' Option

If the ‘Enter Hidden Network’ option is NOT available, obtain the following: philips head screwdriverCAT6 patch cable.


  1. Access Ethernet port

Gently unscrew the top screws each side, and carefully remove the Listo from the wall if needed




  1. Connect EMS to Router via Ethernet

You will see that the LED on the controller changes to solid green (internet & EVSE connected) or solid red (internet connected, EVSE disconnected).  Leave it plugged in to the router for 2 minutes to allow updates to take place.



  1. Reinstall EMS Controller and Connect to Wi-Fi

Unplug the EMS controller and mount it back to the wall if necessary, plugging in the CTs.  Power it up again and wait for it to display the ‘Listo Internet Setup’ network.  Join it as before and go to https://192.168.42.1.  You will now be able to locate the customer’s home Wi-Fi network from the dropdown menu.  Carry on with the commissioning process as outlined in the guide here.
