Listo EMS Controller will not Connect to the Internet

If you cannot proceed past the Wi-Fi setup page during Listo EMS commissioning due to the EMS not connecting to the internet, follow these steps.
Common Causes of Not Connecting to Internet
1. The home Wi-Fi signal may be too weak where the controller is located.
You will notice when connecting to your home network through the "Listo Internet Setup" hotspot, it cycles through the first two stages without fully connecting (below, pictured).

First, test the connection at the EMS to confirm it is a signal strength issue. Try a speed test on your phone in the same room as the controller. If the signal is poor (one bar or under 5 mbps), your connection issue is due to Wi-Fi strength.
If possible, relocate the router to be closer the EMS. If this is not possible, you can install a home Wi-Fi extender using the instructions here.
Wi-Fi router is defaulting to 5Ghz
As is standard with IoT devices, Listo EMS requires a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network to connect to the internet. You may have a band steering router that is attempting to force the EMS to connect to 5Ghz, which is not possible. If this appears to be the case, log in to the router admin interface (connect to open LAN port via ethernet, admin password generally found on router label). Look for setting called "band steering", "smart connect" or similar and disable it. Enable a dedicated 2.4Ghz network if possible in the settings. If it is not possible to disable this setting and enable a dedicated 2.4Ghz network, follow the guide here.
Timed out on connection
If you entered the customer's Wi-Fi correctly and received a timeout error while it attempts to connect, please power cycle the EMS and confirm your device is not in private browsing mode. Once you have power cycled and confirmed this, attempt to connect to the internet again.
Phone/device isn't connected to the internet
If you have successfully entered the customer's Wi-Fi network and have not been redirected to the Unico Power app after multiple minutes, it may seem like something went wrong, but don’t worry. Make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data, and return to the browser, clicking the link pictured below.
